What the Schnitzel?

For the record, I WAS NOT SWEARING. To begin, I must answer a question: “What is schnitzel?” First off, schnitzel is a word, but it is the name of a non-American dish (surprise surprise). At first glance it appears to look like a deformed chicken fried steak, but it is actually different. The first few times I was served it, my mom burned the schnitzel, so I never really got to taste it. When, I final did get to sample it, the schnitzel tasted just as it should. Its taste is that of a piece of pork that was breaded and fried. When the schnitzel is served, it is served with a piece of lemon that one may use to flavor the schnitzel, but the lemon is useless if the schnitzel is burned.

  3. I still prefer using the word as a fun substitute for bad language.

  5. Back home there is a German resteraunt called the schnitzel house, and the food there is really good. I can definitely relate your dish to that resteraunt back home.

I have never heard of schnitzel before! However, schnitzel reminds me of lemon chicken one of my favorites.
